R-Frame Thermal-Magnetic Circuit Breaker (Pending Certification)
The WEB R-Frame is a thermal magnetic circuit breaker designed for reliable branch circuit protection in residential and light commercial panels.
The WEB R-Frame is the breaker you put in a panel when you need reliable branch circuit protection and you don't need it to be complicated. It's a thermal-magnetic breaker - the standard type used in residential and light commercial panels across North America - available in single and double pole from 15 to 60 A.
Thermal-magnetic means two protection mechanisms in one device. The thermal element handles overloads that build up over time - a circuit running hotter than it should for longer than it should. The magnetic element handles short circuits, tripping nearly instantly when current spikes to a dangerous level. Together they cover the two failure cases that branch circuit protection exists to catch.
When it trips, the handle moves to a mid-position that's visually distinct from both ON and OFF. You know what happened at a glance, without pulling out a tester or guessing whether someone just switched it off.
